What Is a Freight Broker TMS? A Practical Guide

A Transportation Management System (TMS) is the software a freight brokerage uses to run its core operations — posting and tracking loads, managing carrier and customer relationships, handling the paperwork a shipment generates, and billing for it — instead of doing all of that across a spreadsheet, an inbox, and a shared drive.
